After revealing three Festival competitive strands, Queer Lisboa discloses further 16 titles that are part of its 25th anniversary special edition. Eight narratives competing for the Best Feature Film Award, and eight documentaries part of the Documentary Competition.

FEATURE FILM COMPETITION:

From late coming-of-ages to family reunions, through love stories of different natures (between old acquaintances; or between sex work colleagues) or odes to survival. A selection of eight feature films that cover a wide range of narrative models and sensibilities.

DOCUMENTARY COMPETITION:

The Documentary Competition maps the multitude of experiences and issues of queer individuals and communities. Memory as fictional narrative, homophobia as the engine of migratory movements, or the complex theme of consent, are some of the highlighted themes in eight titles that remind us how the personal can never seize to be political.
